Collaboration with Polabora

So a few weeks ago I was starting to plan my trip to Europe. The thing that I kept coming back to, was the fact I NEEDED an instant camera! If you have Instagram you will know how popular they are right now. They look cool, and you can actually hold the picture rather than just look at it on your phone/computer/tablet. It's not only a nice idea, but it's nostalgic and brings back childhood memories (for us oldies!). The main problem is the fact they're not cheap and the film is so expensive for a small amount of pictures. Don't get me started on the fact it has to be a perfect picture the first time you take it as you can't just do it again! It is when I was looking for an alternative that I stumbled across Polabora. They print off any picture you like in a number of fun ways!

I chose standard polaroid size and some cool photo booth style ones - they even threw in some mini prints for me too (not to mention the free little pegs they send so you can hang them up)!

It was so quick and simple to do, you can upload from Facebook, Instagram or just your computer/phone. It took me less than 10 minutes to complete my order and it was so much fun!

The best part is you can print out as many as you want, when you want for a really affordable price! Who needs a heavy, bulky camera now!?

I'm away this week in Europe, but I will keep you guys updates on IG (fashion_panic) and upload a nice blog post all about my travel OOTDs!

See you soon,

Double Denim

If someone had told me a few years ago, I would be wearing double denim (outside and not on laundry day), I would never have believed you. But as the denim trend is going no where, I thought I'd give it ago!

I actually love it! I always imagine 80s unflattering jeans and mullets when someone says 'double denim' however this frayed edge dress from Monki changed my expectations. Frayed denim was all over SS15 catwalks, and although it's taken a while to filter down to the high street, It was definitely worth the wait. This isn't OTT, just slightly frayed to give a different texture and modern twist. I can't wait to wear it in summer with some gladiators!

The jackets is from Depop, £7! I definitely recommend Ebay and Depop for denim jackets. I always see really affordable ones on there!

As I shot this in Manchester, UK, it was FREEZING so I teamed it with my over the knee boots which just seem to go with everything.

How do you guys feel about doubling up? Would you go with the trend or is this not for you? I love to read your comments on here and Instagram, so do feel free to tell me your opinion :)

See you soon,

Stripe Addiction

Hello my lovelies! I hope you are well. I'm back with a new look, the title explains it all really; I have a stripe addiction, a big one!

I have always loved stripes. Nautical, boho, breton I'll take them in any from. Today I chose this beautiful 2 piece combo from Vila. You'll know by now that my other love are culottes. So imagine my delight when I spotted these babies!

I'd like to think this is the outfit I would have worn if my LFW invite hadn't been lost in the post...maybe next season : ) It's quite simple but oh so elegant. It has the casual Scandinavian vibes we know and love from Vila, but is cut so beautifully that it feels so feminine and it can be easily glammed up. I chose fur. When in doubt, I always add fur! I think it just gives it that high fashion edge. What do you guys think?

I've finished the look with my staple heels and H&M bag (it's actually an over the body, but I tuck the strap in).

I've been taking lots of new pics recently, as well as working on an exciting business project! Watch this space : )

Have a great weekend,

Lauren XO

Marks and Spencers Fashion Show

Hello and happy Friday! There's something strange and magical happening up in Manchester today...It's SUNNY! Yes, the rare thing we call sun, has finally made an appearance in March! This has totally renewed my enthusiasm for SS15 and I am planning blog posts as we speak.

So last week I was invited to the Marks and Spencer Fashion Show and I took along the lovely Holly from Rock On Holly with me! It was very exciting as they told us no other bloggers were attending the 1pm show, so we felt very special. If you didn't know already, M&S sponsored London Fashion Week, so this was their highlights of the AW15 shows and trends, and a look at their new SS15 collection.

We were given Champagne on arrival and were seated on the frow with a few members of the Hollyoaks Cast, so exciting! Belinda Earle herself (M&S style director) welcomed everybody and then we watched a short film from LFW showing us their favourite looks.

The show was fantastic from start to finish. I know I may be biased, but honestly, every outfit was stunning, wearable and so on trend. I even spotted my flares (which I was wearing!). Some of the clothes were available already, but most were a preview, and trust me you are in for a treat! Masculine brogues, stripes, culottes, waist belts and the good old birkenstock style sandal will be all over the SS15 wardrobe of you M&S shoppers.

Believe it or not, it was my first ever fashion show. I have always watched them online, but I am now addicted to the frow! Thanks for having us Marks ans Spencer, we love every minute!

On to what I wore. Well, if you haven't already worked out, I'm slightly obsessed with the 70s. I have been for a few years, but the fact it's on trend and so easily accessible now is just heaven! I wore fantastic fitting flares from M&S of course, unfortunately they have now sold out, but I was assured there will be more available asap. I teamed it with my amazing faux fur jacket from Coast. I got this baby for £59 down from £195! How could I say no to a 75% discount! To be honest it took me a while to get the confidence to wear it, as I live in a little village that isn't really the fashion capital of the world, but I threw caution to the wind and braved it, and I haven't looked back since!

To finish the look, I added my beautiful star bag that I bought in the ASOS sale at Christmas. It just tops off the 70s vibes.

I am off to get to SS15 looks ready for you guys, have a fabulous weekend!
